Current Institutional Issues in International Arbitration
Annecy (France)
- EN
International arbitration is undergoing a period of change, marked by profound institutional transformations that are impacting both commercial and investment arbitration. The symposium ‘Current
Institutional Issues in International Arbitration’ aims to provide a forum for collective reflection on these developments. The one-day conference will bring together experts from practice, academia, and international organizations to explain and debate two main topics: (1) the push for an appeals mechanism in investor-State dispute settlement and (2) what rules and practices are developing in the area of arbitrator ethics. The conference will take place in Annecy, France and may be followed online.
