The Swiss Institute of Comparative Law collaborates regularly with different Faculties of Law of Swiss universities. 

Furthermore, it is an associate member of la Conference universitaire de Suisse occidentale. 

In Switzerland, the Institute is also represented within the Société suisse de droit international (SSDI: www.svir-ssdi.ch) as well as in the Association suisse pour le droit européen (ASDE: www.asde.ch).

At the international level, the Institute is part of the national committee of the International Academy of Comparative Law, and is also a corporate member.

Moreover, the Institute has concluded conventions with several foreign universities with the aim of collaboration, and in particular, in order to facilitate for individuals at these universities the possibility to undertake research visits at the Institute.

Finally, the Institute maintains relations with a large number of foreign institutions active in the field of comparative law.
