The Swiss Institute of Comparative Law awards each year a certain number of van Calker scholarships with the aim of permitting Swiss and foreign researchers to pursue academic projects at the Institute in the field of comparative law, as well as foreign and international law.
These scholarships are awarded in preference to candidates who have never before had the opportunity to undertake research outside of their country of origin or who are embarking on an academic career.
Applications for scholarships addressed to Martine Do must be received at the latest on the 30th of June of the year preceding the stay at the Institute. It is indispensable that candidates have a good working knowledge of at least two of the following languages: French, German, English.
